What is a Noble Cup?

The Noble Cup is an eco-friendly, cost-effective, flexible, bell shaped medical grade silicone menstrual cup. It softly folds into itself then opens up as its inserted into the vagina creating a leak-proof seal. Noble Cup catches menstrual fluid rather than absorbing it.

How do I use a Noble Cup?

After washing hands thoroughly, the flexible bell shaped cup is folded and inserted into the vagina, catching menstrual fluid. The cup can be removed, emptied, rinsed and re-inserted. Find an instructional video in Amharic here.

How long can the cup be left in?

The Noble Cup can be safely worn for up to 12 hours. You might prefer to remove and empty more regularly depending on your flow.

How long does the cup last?

With proper care, the Noble Cup can last up to 5 years. If you notice any physical damage including tears or splits to your cup, we recommend replacing it.

What is the cup made out of?

The Noble Cup is made from 100% medical grade, FDA approved silicone. Silicone is an exceptional material and a medical device favorite. The material is squishy, hypoallergenic, quick and easy to clean with a less ability to host harmful bacteria.

How do I clean it?

In between cycles, boil your cup for 3-5 minutes to effectively sanitize it. You may wish to wash your cup in cold water after each use. Do not use harsh soaps or detergents to clean your cup, this may irritate your skin and degrade the silicone over time.

How do I clean a Noble Cup in a public bathroom with no running water?

When possible, take a water bottle into the bathroom to rinse. If this is not possible, pat dry with clean tissue paper after emptying and reinsert.

How should I store my Noble Cup?

Make sure your cup is completely dry after cleaning and store in the bag provided. Your cup needs ventilation so avoid storing your cup in a plastic/airtight containers.

  • If your Noble Cup continually moves or leaks, you may need to try another size.

  • Discoloration is normal and can happen.

  • When cleaning the air holes around your Noble Cup, be careful not to puncture or damage them.

  • The Noble Cup does not protect against STDs and must be removed before vaginal penetration.

  • The Noble Cup can be used with IUDS or diaphragms.

  • We do not recommend sharing your menstrual cup.
