ECO-FRIENDLY

Pads and tampons create waste and are difficult to dispose of for women in communities without adequate garbage disposal facilities. One Noble Cup can be re-used for up to 5 years.

WATER SAVING

The Noble Cup is made of silicone, which requires far less water to clean than the homemade reusable alternatives that are prevalent in Ethiopia.

THE TRIANGLE FOLD

Place a finger on the top rim of the cup and press it down. Once pressed, it forms a triangle making the top much smaller for insertion.

3. INSERTION

Spread apart your labia to find your vaginal opening. Relax your vaginal muscles and insert the edge of the cup horizontally into your vaginal opening. To ensure that your cup is in place, pinch the base of the cup and rotate to assure it has opened completely.

4. REMOVAL

Relaxing your vaginal muscles is key to removal. Crouch or sit in a squatting position to remove your cup, push with your vaginal muscles to move the cup lower. To make removal easier, pinch the base of your cup to release the suction seal. Grip the cup with your fingers from the base and pull down gently to remove it.

Keep your cup in an upright position to keep from spilling. Once removed, empty your cup.

Tip: While the Noble Cup can be safely worn for up to 12 hours, you might prefer to remove and empty more regularly ‘every 4‐8 hours’ depending on your flow.

5. Cleaning

Rinse your Noble Cup once removed or simply wipe with toilet paper before re‐inserting. Sterilize your Noble Cup by boiling in water ‘3‐5 minutes‘ before every new cycle. Make sure to clean the small holes at the top of your Noble Cup as they help make the seal. Do not use harsh soaps or detergents to clean your cup, you can soak your cup in warm water for extra cleaning.

Tip: If you do not have access to portable water in your bathroom, use a water bottle or pat dry with tissue paper after emptying.
